RSRV Axis Leather Hoodie

If there was one textile that most poignantly reflected Alpinestars’ 60+ year legacy, it would be leather. If there was one garment that best represented global casual, contemporary street fashion of the past 30 years, it would be the hoodie. If there was one example that was able to bridge these in a luxurious and future-forward interpretation, it would be the Axis Leather Hoodie. Inspired in part by leather jackets out of the Alpinestars archives, the Axis combines soft perforated leather undersleeves and wrist yokes and full grain, non-perforated sleeves and body. While the Axis almost presents itself as 2 separate pieces, the sleeves are actually integrated into the full zip body and elevated shoulders, creating a singular garment. The boxy, slightly cropped fit gives it a contemporary form, while the soft, organic lining compliments the resilience and luxury of the supple leather.
