Arnaud Tonus

Arnaud Tonus enters the 2020 FIM Motocross World Championship following a very strong campaign aboard his YZ450F in 2019. Tonus has landed on the podium seven times since jumping into the premier division (once in 2017 and six times in 2019), but that elusive Grand Prix victory still eludes him.

Date of Birth: June 17, 2024

2009 • Following his back to back European Championships in EMX2, Arnaud Tonus made his World Championship debut in the MX2 class and finished 16th overall with multiple top-10 moto finishes including a fifth place moto finish in France.

2010 • Arnaud Tonus drastically improved with a full MXGP season, he finished seventh overall in the MX2 championship with multiple top-five finishes, a moto podium in Brazil and an overall podium in Italy.

2011 • Consistency moved Arnaud Tonus into fifth overall in the MX2 championship with two third-place moto finishes. He won the British MX2 Championship.

2012 • Injury before the start of the MXGP season forced Arnaud Tonus to miss the first five rounds. He continued to gather speed throughout of the season and finished the season on the podium with third overall in Germany.

2013 • Injury at the end of 2012 did not stop Team CLS Kawasaki from picking up the Swiss for 2013, but unfortunately the injury kept him from showing his true potential and he was forced to focus on 2014.
2014 • Arnaud Tonus achieved his first MX2 win in Brazil, winning the first moto and taking over the championship points lead. He led the championship for three rounds, but injured his shoulder in Germany, which led to him missing five rounds. He returned for the final two rounds. Arnaud Tonus will make his American debut with Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki in 2015.

2015 • Arnaud Tonus's debut in America didn't go as planned as an illness sidelined him for most of the year. Arnaud Tonus had three Supercross starts and raced one round in the Pro Motocross Series, which he finished in the top 10 with a third place in moto 1.
