What certification level does the Nucleon Plasma Back Protector Insert have?

The Nucleon Plasma Back Protector Insert is CE Level 2 and UKCA certified, providing high-impact protection for motorcycle riding. Level 2 certification indicates superior energy absorption compared to Level 1 protectors, making it suitable for both street and sport riding applications.

Is the Nucleon Plasma Back Protector compatible with all Alpinestars jackets?

This insert is designed to fit Alpinestars jackets and suits with back protector pockets. It features an ultra-adaptive design that conforms to different pocket sizes and body shapes. Check your specific jacket's compatibility to ensure it includes a dedicated back protector pocket.

How does Nucleon Plasma Technology differ from traditional foam protectors?

Nucleon Plasma is a lightweight, eco-friendly impact-absorbing material unique to Alpinestars that offers superior breathability and ventilation compared to traditional foam. Its molecular structure provides class-leading adaptability and flexibility while maintaining Level 2 CE protection, resulting in better comfort during extended riding sessions without compromising safety performance.

Can the Nucleon Plasma Back Protector be washed?

The protector features a soft-touch textile backing that can be spot-cleaned with mild soap and water. Allow it to air dry completely before reinserting it into your jacket. Avoid machine washing, tumble drying, or exposing it to direct heat sources, as these may compromise the protective properties of the Plasma material.
