How does the Drystar® membrane work in an enduro boot?

Unlike touring jacket applications where Drystar® is bonded to the outer shell, in the Tech 7 Enduro the membrane is integrated into the inner bootie — the secondary layer inside the outer microfiber shell. This positions the waterproofing close to the foot for maximum effectiveness in immersive conditions (stream crossings, deep mud), while the outer shell absorbs abrasion. The result is 100% waterproof performance that survives the mechanical stress of off-road riding.

What does the biomechanical pivot ankle system do?

The biomechanical pivot is a dual TPU lateral structure connecting the upper and lower panels of the boot. During a fall or impact, this system absorbs and redirects torsional (rotational) forces away from the ankle joint — the most common injury mechanism in enduro crashes.
